The Empowering Grief, Inspiring Hope Gala is our signature event that brings together community members, supporters, and families for an unforgettable evening of remembrance, connection, and unity. Held annually in May in honor of Daniel D. Garza, this elegant event is dedicated to raising awareness of grief and loss while celebrating the strength of individuals and families walking with grief.
The gala serves as a platform for honoring Daniel's memory and supporting the Daniel D. Garza Memorial Scholarship, which helps students who have shown strength and perseverance in the face of adversity. Daniel D. Garza Foundation 5K Fun Run/Walk
The First Annual Daniel D. Garza Foundation 5K Fun Run/Walk is a community-centered event that brings together families, friends, and supporters for a meaningful morning of movement, remembrance, and connection. Held each September in honor of Daniel D. Garza, this event serves as a tribute to his life and a symbol of strength for those navigating grief.
More than just a 5K, this event supports the Daniel D. Garza Memorial Scholarship, awarded to a Navarre High School senior who has shown resilience and perseverance in the face of personal adversity. Participants will gather at Navarre Beach Sound Side Park to walk or run in unity, honoring loved ones, celebrating life, and standing together in support of those affected by loss.
